Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded, residential developer in London who are looking to appoint to Quality Assurance Manager. The role will be to inspect sites and units whilst under construction to ensure high levels of quality and identify defects as early as possible. The role will also entail identifying repeat problems, writing reports for the Directors, and checking, rechecking and signing-off units prior to the snagging process. They are looking for an experienced housing candidate, who will know NHBC guidelines intimately. This will suit either a former Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager, ideally from a carpentry background, or a former NHBC / Zurich / Premier inspector. Candidates will need to be robust enough to challenge the construction teams and subcontractors and stop them working if high standards aren’t adhered to.
