Our client is a market-leading solutions provider with an excellent reputation worldwide. A role has opened for an experienced Quality Manager join their talented team in Exeter. The client requires a highly experienced Quality Manager to work within a busy manufacturing environment. The Quality Manager will be tasked ensuring that production quality issues are effectively investigated and resolved to an acceptable conclusion, whilst promoting quality management on site. Responsibilities: · Overall responsibility for Quality activities across the site. · Managing internal QA systems and supplier quality audit schedules · Liaise with customers on any technical queries, providing support where necessary · Drive product quality improvements · Identify Quality System weaknesses and prepare and execute plans to drive improvements in production quality. · Prepare and report quality KPI's to senior management along with ensuring accurate and consistent data collection and reporting of Quality Key Performance Indicators. · Upholding all aspects of the Quality Management System. · Use analytical tools to improve quality in each process area. · Complying with ISO accreditation requirements · Auditing materials provided by suppliers Requirements: • Experience of working in an ISO accredited manufacturing business • Hands on, internal auditing experience. • Ability to communicate at a technical level. • Previous experience of leading a Quality function, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering environment. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Deadline driven and able to multitask. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
