Overview

A great opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join a leading Food Manufacturer at an exciting time of growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer with ingredients and/or packaging experience gained in the food manufacturing industry to join a leading business in the South Yorkshire area. As a Senior Buyer you'll be responsible for developing the food ingredient capabilities within the business in line with my clients' plans for growth. This is an integral role in the business looking for someone to deliver the strategy and closely support the Head of Procurement. You'll be responsible for a wide range of chilled products and will have full accountability for supplier development and will work closely with key internal stakeholders and suppliers. Candidates will be talented Buyers with experience of working in the food manufacturing industry or other FMCG/short shelf life product areas. Ingredients experience is essential as is a proven track record of strong negotiation and influencing skills. This is an exciting opportunity working for a leading, growing food business.
