Overview
Hands on finance manager role with an global Plc within Liverpool. An internationally recognised Plc with a growing presence in Liverpool are looking to add a finance manager to their growing finance team in Liverpool. The group opperate with an intersting structure giving the role a feel of an SME with the backing on a large Plc. As finance manager you will be working closely with the financial controller to oversee the transactional finance team alongside assist with monthly and yearly reporting. Responsibilities Lead the accounts assistants junior to create clear objectives, coach, supervise, develop and provide technical assistance Maintain integrity of JFMS Balance Sheet through regular reviews and monthly reconciliations Assist in preparation of Statutory Accounts Production of VAT & Intrastat reporting Management of fixed asset reporting & Stock management Main contact point for external auditors ensuring audits run smoothly JFMS overhead reporting across divisions Be the gatekeeper of SAGE accounting software including general overview of accounting transactions, correction of any erroneous postings, closing of ledgers for periods Management of payroll submission for JFMS to Corporate Completion of other regular ad hoc corporate requirements Ensure compliance with all corporate internal controls, adherence to internal audit recommendations and keeping financial reporting documents documentation Any other ad-hoc tasks as required in supporting the JFMS Financial Controller & Director including forecasts and budgets Qualifications and experience: ACA,CIMA or ACCA Change implementation experience Strong Excel and systems knowledge Sage 200 experience Cognos experience advantageous Experience of development of financial controls and systems implementation Statutory Accounts preparation experience Relevant experience in a senior finance or accounting related role Successful experience of managing people and teams
