Compliance Officer Location: Liverpool Street Job Type: Permanent Working days and hours : Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm Salary: £20k per annum rising to £21k after probation (6 months) On Target Earnings: £23 -£24k per annum depending on achieving set compliance file targets Benefits include: Annual Awards Generous annual leave Gym Membership Private Healthcare Casual Dress-code Role Summary: To conduct candidate compliance activities ensuring quality and compliance is at the heart of all activities. Responsible for all candidates within their allocated desk having the required documentation to work in either in the NHS (under the relevant Framework agreements) or private sector clients. This role has the following duties and responsibilities: You will require an enquiring mind as you piece together the jigsaw of an individual’s background, plus an antenna to spot any irregularities which need escalating. Naturally curious people will thrive. You will be provided with industry and account unique training specifically within the areas of Health Care compliance. At the same time your excellent customer service skills will put candidates at ease during the vetting process, demonstrating your high standards of professionalism. You will be required to: Follow and maintain business standard operating procedures and screening procedures for client requirements Display a keen eye for detail to ensure 100% accuracy on all your vetting activity, whilst working at pace. Receive, review and input both paper and electronic data relating to vetting Conduct variety of database verifications and review results in line with Your World best practice standards To rapidly and accurately input data Display a keen level of attention to detail, to ensure your monthly compliance statistics are achieved To provide outstanding frontline telephone communications to both candidate and the sales team, ensuring superior customer service and identifying risk where appropriate. Ensure the timely delivery of vetting that meets or exceeds client service level agreements and turnaround times Prepare candidate files for both internal and external audits Display a keen level of attention to detail, to ensure your monthly compliance statistics are achieved Using a variety of tools to research the appropriate contacts in order to persuade them to provide a written reference To provide outstanding verbal and written communications to both candidates, referees and the sales thereby ensuring exemplary customer service Maintain a sensitive approach to personal data of applicants in line with Data Protection requirements Person Specification A passionate and skilled telephone communicator who is versed in overcoming challenges and going around gate keepers. With the ability to clearly explain requirements and why they are so important. Strong time management coupled with the ability to multitask Adherence to Company internal and external Policies and Procedures Outstanding, proactive and persuasive communicator Strong organisational skills Excellent attention to detail IT literate coupled with good administration experience Strong interpersonal skills Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Aptitude to learn and develop as part of hardworking team Has integrity, energy, lots of enthusiasm and is hardworking and approachable Previous recruitment and compliance experience in a similar environment desirable
