Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an independent technology company as their Financial Accountant to work within a fixed term contract of 12 months. Whilst working within a finance team you will take ownership of the company’s statutory reporting, bringing together monthly flash reporting. Reference: HT13226 As the Financial Accountant you will: You will undertake key activities in the annual statutory accounts process. This includes preparing the year end consolidated balance sheets and profit and loss accounts, collating all for the notes to the accounts, preparing directors emoluments schedules and reviewing and co-ordinating with the external auditors throughout the process Managing the corporation tax process, ensuring returns are prepared accurately and submitted on time. Also to provide general tax guidance and advice to ensure compliance for the UK entity; this may involve research into other jurisdictions in which the company operates The successful Financial Accountant will have: You will be a qualified accountant who has qualified within either ACA or ACCA Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables) Given that this is a fixed term contract, ideally you will be available immediately or at short notice Financial Accountant - Benefits Bonus on top of base salary Car parking Flexible working hours Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
