Overview

The Financial Accountant role, based in Camberley, will be key in supporting the Area Financial Controller to ensure a robust and adequate control environment. Responsible for statutory reporting across all businesses. Description Financial Accountant Responsibilities: Complete all statutory accounts, ensure signed and filed on time Responsible for all business surveys and returns Assist in the completion of group templates and submissions Ensure all tax returns are completed including VAT, IPT, P11d, PSA and Corporation Tax. Point of contact for group tax department Ensure necessary controls are in place to guarantee accurate reporting of performance of the business. Liaise with internal and external auditors to support their activities. Work proactively to close out any control issues they may raise. Be main contact point for external audit team whilst on site. Investigate and propose solutions to any control issues that arise during the year. Manage the internal control accountant to ensure the following checks are being performed regularly Expense audits Monthly stock counts Asset verification General control checks and internal control projects Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Profile The successful Financial Accountant candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate a track-record of success as well as your passion to develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking FMCG company.
