Overview

Firefly HC are currently recruiting for one of our high growth Private-Equity backed client. Based in the Camberley area, the company manufactures household name goods for the FMCG sector and has a turnover just shy of $0.5Bn, due to an internal promotion they are looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant. The role reports into the Group Financial Controller (Big-4 ACA Qualified), who we placed at the business in 2018. The current incumbent has been promoted into a Commercial Finance Position. This role gives great exposure. You will be part of the senior finance team straight away, working with the GFC and CFO. There will be lots of project work in the role too - will include KPI development, process improvement and ad hoc requests from the private-equity house. Responsibilities: Preparing Group consolidated results for actuals, budget and forecasts using the recently implemented BPC tool. Own BPC for the group including: Reporting on balance sheet and budget for the group including reports for the board and banks including developing KPIs and improving reports Drive process improvements including intercompany reporting Accounting for private equity companies Ideal Candidate: Qualified Accountant, trained in practice preferably Experience of consolidations. Experience of SAP BPC would be advantageous but training will be given. Strong technical accounting (IFRS) knowledge Ability to build strong working relationships with other parts of the finance function and external advisers
