Overview
Insurance Claims Manager Location: Cheltenham Salary: Up to £28,000 Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. I am looking to recruit an Insurance Claims Manager to join a reputable Insurance firm in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be managing a small claims team. The departmental responsibilities are; dealing with all aspects of customer claims, including first notification of loss, dealing with insurers and loss adjusters, together with all associated telephone and administration tasks. Responsibilities of the Insurance Claims Manager: o To manage the process of claims by telephone or correspondence as appropriate o Liaising with customers, insurance companies and loss adjusters by telephone and correspondence o Managing the transmission of photographic and video evidence to insurers o Report information from the claims department in to higher management o Maintain customer records on bespoke software system and manual files o Supervise and support the claims team as required Requirements to become the Insurance Claims Manager: o An understanding of commercial insurances o Knowledge of commercial vehicles, fleets, goods in transit, employers liability and public liability would be hugely beneficial o Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word o Experience of working in a similar role o Confident telephone manner o Keen eye for detail in a pressured environment o Friendly and approachable for colleague and company stakeholders Benefits of the role: o Holiday: 28 days per annum including Bank Holidays o Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience o Pension and Death in Service Schemes available after a qualifying period This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an innovative and professional business.
