Overview
Insurance Claims Handler Location: Cheltenham Salary: Up to £22,000 Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. I am looking to recruit an Insurance Claims Handler to join a reputable Insurance firm in Cheltenham. We are looking for experience, if you have worked within a claims department then we want to hear from you The provisions of the role will be dealing with customer claims, FNOL , dealing with insurers and loss adjusters, and managing the telephone and administration tasks that come with this. Responsibilities of the Insurance Claims Handler: o The processing of claims via telephone o Liaising with customers, insurance companies and loss adjusters by telephone and correspondence o Dealing with the transmission of photographic and video evidence to insurers o Managing customer records in line with the company databases and systems. Requirements to become the Insurance Claims Handler: o Prior experience within a similar position o Experience and understanding of commercial insurances o Prior experience with commercial vehicles, fleets, goods in transit, employers liability and public liability would be hugely beneficial o A strong working understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word o A confident telephone manner and the ability to be accurate and precise whilst working under pressure and meeting deadlines o A friendly and approachable personality with the ability to adapt to customer requirements with patience and understanding Benefits of the role: o Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience o Pension and Death in Service Schemes available after a qualifying period This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an innovative and professional business.
