Job Title: Build Manager (Telecoms) Job Specification: · Manage all aspects of the build programme, including civils, cabling and poling disciplines · Manage direct reports, including Field Supervisors · Manage sub-contractor relationships · Liaise with the client through all levels · Liaise with Planning, Programming & Noticing teams to ensure seamless progression of build · Provision of detailed KPI reports · Plan the work and ensure necessary materials and equipment · Plan resource requirements for the project · Manage the construction sites on a day-to-day basis, including the necessary supervision of the workforce · Promoting onsite behaviour consistent with company policy · Overseeing the preparation of work schedules and job packs · Ensuring productivity targets are met · Ensuring ‘right first time’ quality of works · Ensuring company and legislative Health & Standards are complied with · Management of defects & FPN’s · Conflict resolution Requirements : · Minimum 5 years experience of Supervision/Management within Utilities industry, preferably Telecoms · Experience of managing field supervisors and construction teams · CSCS card · Full knowledge of HSG47 · Full knowledge of SROH · Has Street works SWQR · Good knowledge of permitting & noticing procedures, including registrations · Knowledge of industry regulations · A hands-on approach in order to influence a positive culture and mind-set throughout the workforce · Pro-active and self-motivated with a solid work ethic, consistently achieving goals and meeting deadlines · Demonstrated ownership of all aspects of the job · Passion for excellence Meticulous attention to detail · Full Driving License · Ability to travel throughout the UK Desirable: · NVQ qualifications in Site Supervision, Contracting Operations, Site Management, and Senior Management Why choose Lite Access as your next career opportunity? · You will have the ability to create something from the ground up and influence an industry in creative and innovative ways · Opportunity for growth and progression with a growing and dynamic company · Your voice is heard; be part of the change and influence in your market · A total compensation program that rewards you on the delivery of results · Full benefits and pension program · Flexibility in work location · Total respect for work / life integration; the focus is on results This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89832250
