Overview
Account Executive A well-established and successful Insurance Broker are looking for an Account Executive to join their corporate department. As an Account Executive, you will be working closely with a Client Advisor and taking over an existing book of business of SME to mid-corporate clients. You will be the ideal Account Executive if you: Thrive working collaboratively with a busy team. Put the needs of the client first. Always aim to enhance the experience of the client. Have experience with a variety of commercial insurance risks. Seek variety in a role. Are open to new challenges. Pro-active and results oriented. The key responsibilities of an Account Executive will be: Retention and growth of existing book. This will include following the company’s processes, procedures and timelines. Communication with the client will be mostly on a face to face basis. Determining and delivering renewal strategies. Identifying client needs and designing bespoke programmes. Writing and delivering client reports. Excellent customer service. Development of new business, both from existing clients and the introduction to new prospects. Working with the other departments of the business creating and converting cross selling opportunities. Maintaining and developing knowledge of insurers’ current appetites and offerings. Credit control. Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial broker in a client facing role. Sound technical knowledge of commercial general insurance. Excellent face to face and telephone communication skills. Ability to be a self-starter and work under minimal supervision. Minimum Cert CII or progression towards. Knowledge and understanding of the salesprocess. Negotiating skills. The Package Competitive Salary. Bonus scheme.
