Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager with a high level of Automation skills and practical experiences who can support service and process engineers on site. Role Following set processes and performing repeating tasks. Able to write PLC code to FDS documents and thoroughly test prior to deployment. Provide remote access tools and support. Provide solutions to customers automation needs in the integration of company equipment. Advise the business of best practice based on past experience and industry standards. Predominantly communicates with external partners and decision makers. To communicate with the customer, their system integrator and the project / service team during the implementation of the automation system. To liaise with the required divisions within company and its suppliers to deliver the required level of automation and support. To produce on time project reports as requested by the company Management team. Taking ownership to close out issues and manage change as per Company controls. Compile, submit and file the final documentation relating to all aspects of the automation of a project or service visit. Experience Proficient in Siemens S7, TIA and Rockwell PLC Programing. Excellent knowledge visualization systems WinCC/Intouch/iFix/WinccFlex. Excellent knowledge of industrial networks including Profibus and Ethernet. Knowledge of STL, IL languages and indirect addressing in Siemens platforms. Able to install and commission remote access tools for us of our service team. Electrically qualified and able to trouble shoot control panels, electrical installations and instrumentation. Good knowledge of MS applications. Capable of writing FDS documentation. Able to support service and process engineers with automation commissioning activities on site. Provide remote automation support to company colleagues and customers. Willingness to learn specific process technologies. Other Skills & Competencies Minimum HNC ideally a Degree in a related discipline. Recognised electrical qualification. Experience in leading automation commissioning projects in various process industries. Experience of offering automation support for service and breakdown activities both on site and remotely. High level of automation skills and practical experiences. Strong Organisational skills. Communication skills at all levels. Good working knowledge of MS applications. Able to comfortably deliver presentations and automation.
