Overview
Senior Accountant Located on the close outskirts of Nottingham city centre our client, a well-established family run accountancy practice, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their small and friendly team. You will be responsible for mentoring staff and reviewing their work and for undertaking the following duties: Completion of Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Trader accounts VAT Returns Bookkeeping Filing accounts with HMRC and Companies House Payroll Client liaison both on the phone and in person on and off site Previous experience supervising / mentoring junior colleagues would be preferred and some knowledge of tax would be a benefit, although not essential. Must be able to multi-task and have a personable, happy disposition to fit in. Open to level of qualification although likely to suit QBE, AAT, or part qual ACA, ACCA Senior Accountant. The salary is dependent upon experience. This role would really suit an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong practice background who is looking for a steady role within a small, family run firm.
