Payroller - Leading accountancy practice - Burnley - Up to £25,000 (DOE) Your new firm A leading firm of chartered accountants based in Burnley are looking to recruit a payroll administrator into their friendly team. The firm have a great reputation in the market and deal with a wide spectrum of clients from single subcontractors to limited companies with multi million-pound turnovers. The firm offer a wide range of accounting services both compliance and value added. Your new role As a payroll administrator you will be in charge of running the end to end payroll for a portfolio of clients of varying sizes. You will process payrolls of a weekly, monthly and fortnightly basis. You will set up new payrolls where suitable, dealing with RTI system, inform clients of PAYE liabilities, control of payroll schemes, P45's / P60's, CIS returns and dealing with HMRC. You will also be heavily involved with all things concerning pensions / auto enrolment. This position would consider both part or full time, if the role is full time you will be involved with preparing personal tax returns; training will be provided for this. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this Burnley based payroll job you will need to have worked in a payroll department for an accountancy practice previously or a payroll bureau. You will need to be able to work to strict deadlines, be self-motivated and have a good attention to detail. On top of this you should have good Microsoft excel skills, be self-motivated and be able to work individually or as part of a team.
