Overview
Group Internal Auditor A market leading, US owned, manufacturing business is looking to expand their dynamic internal audit team. The role will have an international focus working within a supportive and collaborative audit team. They offer flexible working with the opportunity to work from home when not travelling. This could be a great opportunity for a part or newly qualified accountant looking to make a step from practice into a corporate environment. The business offers excellent potential for progression and development and you will gain a high level of exposure to both financial and non-financial colleagues across the business and at all levels. The role will include: Conduct financial and operational audits, for sites and business processes across the EMEA region. Support the development of audit programs and risk assessments. Work closely with stakeholders to validate findings and resolve any issues. Assist with completion of Sarbanes-Oxley annual assessment Business partner with regional sites and divisions to improve processes and undertake one off projects. Execute and report on IT systems implementations. Representing the audit team to the business and supporting the increase in audit presence. Skills required: Degree level qualification in relevant subject. Ideally part or newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Prior experience working in corporate audit or in practice (a big 4 background would be strongly preferred) Prior experience working with SOX controls would be desirable. Strong IT skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. A willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within the European region.
