We're looking for a Data Analyst to join Alpha Development's Operations team.You'll be providing training specific Data Analysis for all of our clients on a global scale, within the Product, Finance and Sales teams. This Data Analyst role will be the start of our analytics function. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities of the Data Analyst Use data analytics to support evidence-based decision-making across client, finance and product teams. Building out the tools and dashboards to deliver data for all teams across the company. The data analyst needs to liaise with key stakeholders to understand data goals and identify analysis to support these goals. The data analyst needs to complete data collection, data entry and report generation on various departmental related activities. Aside from technical analysis, the data analyst will communicate findings of analysis throughout the business via custom reports defined by each department (primarily excel based). The data analyst should be looking for opportunities to automate data presentation and communication using available systems and processes. Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required of the Data Analyst Demonstrable experience in Research and Data collection and analysis Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel Previous knowledge of using CRM and finance applications Degree preferred in computer science, statistics, economics or other math/science related field Experience of SQL, Python and/or R programming language will be advantageous Has a high level of understanding of broad data quality protocols and an ability to view data quality and integrity from a macro perspective. Able to bring insights to life with effective data visualisation and compelling presentation skills in a variety of tools such as Excel, Tableau, Qlik and PowerBI Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills Attention to detail Good problem-solving skills Establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans and manages time effectively Benefits 28 days holiday bank holidays (pro-rated) Flexible working opportunities Pension contribution Gym Membership contribution The Data Analyst will be offered a highly competitive salary paying from £28,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and excellent company benefits possibly including stock options.
