About the company & role This long-standing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced finance manager to come in and spearhead a period of organisational change from a financial perspective. You will need 3 years of management experience in a financial role for this position. That’s because the new finance manager will need to jump straight into the position and lead the team. Operating in a manufacturing niche that changes frequently the ability to adjust as a business has been key to the continued success the company enjoys. This is a role that will give you the autonomy to make your own decisions and the ability to influence decision making at the highest level. The finance manager will be responsible for: Preparation of monthly management accounts Variance analysis of monthly performance vs forecasts Optimising working capital through the management of cash flow Rigorous cost control and budget creation Managing 2-3 team members Maintain internal controls for the company Analysis of performance, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements Attend senior management meetings and present to the board as required Skills and experience needed: Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA 3 years of experience as a finance manager or similar role Ability to lead a team The confidence and knowledge to guide high stakes decision making Highly motivated and ambitious Ability to translate complex data into easy to understand messages Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment Apply today This is an exciting role for a successful finance manager to come in and help shape the future of the company.
