Overview
We are currently working alongside a well-established SME business based on the outskirts of Chorley who are looking for an experienced Finance/Accounts Manager. The role will involve: - Streamline all the transactional reporting and nominal coding of the business Manage the purchase and sales ledger, including accountable for invoices Develop accountability around expenses and overhead spend Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany transactions Develop the annual forecasting process providing more accuracy around cost centre management and budget control. Produce accurate P&L analysis, cash flow and forecasting process to develop year on year growth Manage the HMRC, VAT calculations, bank calculations/governance Be the main point of contact for the auditors, banks and external parties Already you will have experience of working in an autonomous role where you are the lead person in finance for all levels across the business both internally and externally. You will have working knowledge of sage as well as strong excel skills, and ideally have experience of working alongside owner managers. The successful candidate will be fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA but a strong background in senior reporting may be considered for the right candidate.
