Overview
My client based in Hertford are currently recruiting for an experienced accounts assistant candidate to join their team immediate on a full time basis - the ideal candidate will have good background experience in a similar finance role: Input/allocation of cash, cheques, standing orders and BACS payments etc on the company database Process credit card payments Log, code & input purchase invoices/credit notes Produce sales invoices and monthly statements Chase outstanding amounts on the sales ledger Deal with queries regarding purchase/sales invoices Raise cheques for the Legal department, creditors and clients. Nominal postings Assist with the reconciliation of bank statements Liase with other staff & management in order to solve queries and obtain authorisation of cheques, invoices etc. Carry out any other accounts/administration tasks where necessary If this is something you would be interested in please contact me on the details below.
