Overview

Are you a CIPD qualified HR Manager looking for a new challenge? Insensys is a rapidly growing engineering and manufacturing business in Fareham. We are a leading global supplier of fibre optic sensing systems for Wind turbines, helping to reduce the cost of renewable energy. Due to the growth of the company we are now looking for a HR Manager to set up an HR Function and implement an HR Strategy. This role is offered on a flexible basis and open to Full or Part time applicants. The Role As our HR Manager, you will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer who is also HR Director, Company Secretary and Board member, the role will have significant interaction with the Board of Directors. In this role you will be expected to: Create and implement an HR Strategy, which will include internal HR processes, procedures and policies Manage employee relations (to include but not limited to absence management and disciplinaries) Manage employee data electronically. Coordinate with QHSE department on safety, health and wellbeing initiatives for employees. Work with line managers to create personal development programs, cross-skilling initiatives, succession planning and risk management Supporting the Board of Directors in various strategic areas, principally those involving employees and people development. The Ideal HR Manager CIPD Level 5 Qualified or equivalent experience Generalist HR experience is essential Manufacturing experience is advantageous A track record in evolving HR systems and processes within an SME environment Confidence at operating at a senior level and reporting to the board Rewards and Benefits Our remuneration package is highly competitive and will be reflective of your qualifications and experience.
