Overview
You will be responsible for assisting in budget and forecasting process to ensure that individual school budgets across the board are designed to facilitate Leaders plans for improvements. Client Details Working within the Education sector to ensure the senior stakeholders are kept informed of financial performance of their schools to which you are allocated through regular analysis and reporting of monthly management accounts. Description As the management Accountant for a great organisation within the education sector, you will be responsible for : - Month end close down processes - Month end management accounts reporting - Common chart of accounts - General Financial procedures for academies to comply with the academies financial handbook - Internal controls within individual academies and across the Trust - Accounts timetable and data requirements - Building a relationship with the academy school lead and work closely with the CFO to hold schools accountable for delivery within their agreed budgets. Profile The successful Management accountant will have the following; Technical excel skills, strong budgeting and reporting experience. - Part qualified in an Accountancy qualification or qualified by experience. - Previous experience in trust education - Experience of operating and managing accounting systems - Experience of consolidating financial data - Experience of management reporting, forecasting and budgeting. Job Offer Salary - up to £40K Contract - Ongoing temporary role - Minimum 4 months- Potentially TTP Sector - Education Location - Birmingham City centre based / work from home but would need to travel to both Redditch and Tipton
