About the Business Division The Digital Consulting team is part of the Customer Engagement & Campaigning team. The Consulting team leads the way in customer management by helping their clients acquire, develop and retain customers through effective marketing strategy planning, optimisation and analytics. About the Role The company is looking for a new Digital Marketing Consultant to join the Digital Consulting team. With a focus on CRM channels, the role will be split between retained client work and project work supporting a portfolio of key clients across multiple sectors. This position offers variety and autonomy to come up with your own ideas, delivering strategies and actionable plans that positively impact their client’s business outcome. You will be expected to present to and influence senior stakeholders. Depending on your clients, your role could cover a broad range of responsibilities such as: Reviewing digital marketing activity to build multi-channel/channel specific marketing strategies Interim management of in-house client roles Advising and establishing effective ways of working across client teams/agencies Forecasting the impact of CRM channels, and potentially managing a budget The company fosters growth of individuals, as they believe well-rounded consultants deliver best-in-class work. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience, either ‘hands on’ management or very close oversight of 2 or more traditional CRM channels: Email, Push, SMS, Web, App, DM Awareness and understanding of other digital channels is preferable: PPC, Display, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliates, Aggregators, Content, Organic Social, CRO Channel Knowledge: Understanding of the strategic role CRM channels can play in a customer journey; and how best to develop subsequent cross channel strategies that deliver business objectives Understanding of, and interest in, building out customer and prospect life cycles, campaign journeys and programmes across CRM channels Can produce channel specific strategies that deliver against specific channel level targets and overall KPIs The know-how to review and audit campaign structures and operating models with an ability to define prioritised recommendations Demonstrable experience in audience selection techniques and using best-in-class optimisation techniques to improve performance Analytics, Budgeting & Forecasting: Skilled at analysing and extracting insights from performance data, often using multiple sources of data to build the most meaningful insight to develop marketing strategies Proficient with numbers and Excel with the ability to develop budgets and forecasts where required Experienced utilising analytics tools preferable; Google Analytics / Adobe Analytics or similar Personal Skills: Strong presentation and communicational skills; able to create a narrative, propose ideas and the reasoning behind it, while delivering with presence and confidence Able to liaise with, and most importantly, influence key client stakeholders (e.g. senior managers, channel experts, C-suite and agencies) About You You are a confident and approachable individual across colleagues, clients, agencies and partners You are a self-starter, who can “get things done” without the need for hand holding You are highly motivated, and goal driven, with the will and drive to succeed You understand the bigger picture – KPIs are in your blood You are passionate about solving problems with fit-for-purpose solutions You have a professional attitude, with an entrepreneurial, innovative and creative flair You are naturally inquisitive About the Benefits: The company has a range of benefits on offer to support their employees not only through their day to day well-being but also to foster their future career growth.
