Overview

IT Helpdesk Manager required in Borehamwood for a dynamic MSP business. The successful candidate will be managing a team of two in a hands-on role dealing with escalated tickets and speaking with clients over the phone. Key responsibilities; You will be speaking with clients and dealing with open tickets. Supporting a team of two, getting involved with training and day to day management of the helpdesk. Managing bespoke projects as required. Skills required: Experience leading a helpdesk team, either in management or senior 2 nd /3 rd line position. Server management experience needed; Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and Windows File Sharing and Terminal Server / Remote Desktop. Network management; Routers and Firewall configuration, knowledge of DSL and Leased Lines, IPv4 and WiFi Access Points. PC fault diagnostics; Windows and Mac, Printer and scanner debugging, Server hardware and RAID arrays. Good communication skills required as you will be dealing with clients.
