Job Description
International Pharmaceutical Manufacturer based in Hertfordshire requires Quality Checkers for a Temp to Perm contract after an approximate 6 month starting period, own transport is essential due to location. About the role: Responsible for visually inspecting filled bottles and vials following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). Duties may include: * Visually inspects products for various defects. * Documents work accurately and timely. * Complies with current SOPs and cGMP. * Sets-up and operates inspection equipment. * Performs and documents critical procedures such as line clearance, storage records etc. * Performs and documents quality checks on product. * Calculates defective product percentages on inspection results and reconciles components on batch record. * Loads and unloads vials from storage. Moves pallets to and from storage. * Performs other duties as assigned. Skills and experience: * 1+ year(s) experience of visual inspection of products (pharmaceutical preferred). * Knowledge of cGMP preferred. * Basic knowledge of machine setting. * Documentation of processes/results. * Visual ability to detect defective products. * Keen eye for detail. * Able to concentrate for extended periods of time. * Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions. * Good written & oral communication skills. * Accuracy with written documentation.
