Overview
My client, a well-established Private school with notable alumni is seeking a strong IT Trainer & IS Admin Support to join their growing and exciting team. Overview The IT trainer and admin support will be responsible for developing and delivering training programmes, staff induction sessions and administrative support to the wider team, this may include but is not limited to the day-to-day department tasks such as license management, managing IS support calls to the helpdesk, managing the data dashboard and other simple systems administration duties. Duties and Responsibilities Working with other members of the Information Services & Development and the wider IT services team to become an in-house expert in the use and end user support of all IT applications and services used in the school. Development and delivery of training programmes for major school IT applications ensuring that appropriate documentation and training manuals are produced for end users. Development and delivery of a staff IT induction programme. Development of IT self-help and systems documentation which published and maintained on the IT intranet pages. Assisting users to understand how they can make better use of applications in their day to day work and to monitor the IT literacy of the school’s staff and address any issues that arise. Management and scheduling of digital signage Management of pilot and trial processes for new applications or for changes to existing applications and feedback Provision of administrative support to the information services and development team Management of incoming IS support and other requests Information Services Support inbox Support projects in order to define requirements and to develop and deliver training for new systems. Any other duties as reasonably requested by your line manager.
