Overview
Field Service Engineer - Midlands - Bespoke machinery - Installation & service Field Service Engineer required for a company who specialises in bespoke equipment. The ideal candidate will have a track record of building good customer relationships, be able to work independently or as part of a team of engineers, and have excellent communication skills, that will allow you to liaise and represent our client at all levels. Our client like candidates with ambition, flexibility, and candidates who can demonstrate high levels of integrity and commitment. As any Service Engineer role flexibility is key in this role. You will have a strong mechanical/electrical background, and be able to carry out high standards of installation, maintenance, service on customer equipment. Role will require travelling throughout the UK, will be home most evenings however should be prepared to stay away when required. Key Responsibilities Carry out installation, service, repair, maintenance of process machinery Work with design and sales team to optimisation. Fault finding Carry out Electrical/Mechanical activities Monitor installed equipment and provide excellent service levels always Assist with technical documentation The Ideal Candidate Summary NVQ/HNC or relevant qualification in either Mechanical/Electrical discipline Extensive service or Maintenance engineering experience FMCG/Food/automotive industry experience IT literate is a must Excellent communication Excellent engineering experience across /electrical/mechanical Must be flexible Our client will consider candidates who have carried out Maintenance roles within a manufacturing environment and maybe fed up with only being based at one site and would like to explore.
