Senior PHP Developer, Farnborough Avanti Recruitment is partnering with a small but successful and friendly digital agency to recruit a Senior PHP Developer who enjoys making top notch websites with Wordpress and is also good with programming in PHP and ideally either Symfony or Zend. We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join a vibrant and forward-thinking company based in Farnborough. The team are based onsite in Farnborough and really enjoy collabaorating so we are looking for someone who wants to be based in the office at least 4 days a week. 1 day a week from home is fine but any more than that becomes a struggle as the team are so close knit and work together really nicely. The successful candidate will play a key role in the group’s continued growth and success in 2020. This is a chance to work on complex projects from creation to resolution and to also help the team support all of our ongoing projects and customers. Playing a key role within a small team, the successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to learn fast. The company has established great relationships with their clients, developing bespoke online software for them within a wide range of sectors. The role will be fast-paced and require the ability to multi-task and to move from project to project rapidly as required by the business. The successful candidate will have at least five years commercial experience and a skill-set that contains the following: PHP MVC Framework experience (ideally Symfony or Zend) WordPress MySQL Ideally MongoDB and Elasticsearch This role will lend itself to a committed senior developer excited for a new challenge.
