Overview
As a result of continued growth our client, an independent firm of actuaries and pension consultants, are currently looking for a Senior Pensions Administrator to join their Administration team dealing with both DB and DC trust based schemes. Candidates will be responsible for a range of duties including processing benefit calculations including manual calculations, processing renewals, benefit statements, preparing trustee reports and accounts, preparation of pension payrolls and pension increases, production of statistics for regular reports to trustees etc. You will also be responsible for additional tasks such as checking calculations and work of more junior members of the team, supporting management with training and mentoring of team members as well as helping to develop client relationships. Experience: - Candidates need to have previous experience of working within the pensions industry, ideally having dealt with both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes within a TPA environment, although our client will consider candidates from an in-house environment, or those with experience of only DB or DC schemes. - Ideally you will have achieved, or be working towards, PMI or CII qualifications - Ability to work to deadlines. - Strong interpersonal and coaching skills In return our client is looking to offer a very competitive basic salary as well as an excellent benefits and bonus package and plenty of opportunities for career progression within this growing organisation.
