Overview

Infrastructure Engineer - 3rd Line, Microsoft, Windows Central London Near Euston - £45,000 - £55,000 Excellent Benefits Infrastructure Engineer sought by a high quality, Microsoft Gold Partnered managed services provider to provide excellent 3rd line support to their clients, assisting with system builds configurations, installations (on-site or remote) and solutions delivery. As an Infrastructure Engineer you will join the team in a client facing support role, providing excellent customer service, solution design / delivery and software/hardware package updates for client networks. You will provide 3rd line via remote access and on-site visits where appropriate, dependant on the project. As part of the team you will also have the opportunity to help improve company systems, procedures and knowledge base by contributing, collaborating and mentoring the more junior team members. The successful Infrastructure Support Engineer should have the following: Solid experience in a client-facing support role (managed service provider) Have experience in Office 365 migrations or keen to develop knowledge on Office 365 and Azure A love of technology with experience in: Windows Server, Exchange Server, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Office 365, Apple, Networking, Backup, Virtualisation (Hyper-V) Organisational skills with an ability Demonstrable experience with Firewalls - SonicWall and Cisco products especially relevant In depth knowledge of Networking / Backup and Virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V) At least 2 Microsoft Certified Professional qualifications (MCP / MCSE / MCITP / MCSEI / MCITPI / MCSA) - willingness to continue self-development and education Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written As well as a competitive basic salary, they also offer training opportunities, an excellent benefits package and the chance to develop as an Infrastructure Engineer within an organisation that has a reputation for delivering the highest quality service possible.
