Senior Architectural Project Manager (RIBA or MCIAT, MCIOB) Reference: KONOT6383WW77037 Location: Nottingham Salary: Competitive based on experience Exciting opportunity to join one of East Midlands leading and successful Architectural firms. About the company and role: My client is seeking a determined and ambitious Senior Architectural Project Manager to join their team to support in the management and control of the design and technical aspects of their workflow. The ideal candidate will already have proven experience in managing a design team, including a large number of fast paced and large-scale projects. With this role you should expect to work on a variety of sectors inclusive of Residential, Healthcare, Commercial, Educational and Leisure projects. Much of the work for this senior post will be working in the public sector which will offer you exciting design and construction challenges. Key skills required for this role: Excellent communications skills both verbally and written. Ability to manage and organise teams' workloads whilst meeting deadlines. Able to programme work content and support the team in delivery. Day to day management of a number of large projects. Demonstratable technical and construction knowledge with excellent detailing skills. It would be highly beneficial to have Revit and AutoCAD knowledge. Previous track record of leading medium-large scale projects and supporting the design and technical team throughout all RIBA stages. Good client facing skills. Responsibilities whilst in this role will include: Working closely with the Senior Associate developing the work programme whilst also managing deadlines to a successful conclusion. Support production information including technical details, working drawings and quality control. Previous experience producing Designer Risk Registers. Experience using NBS for specification writing. Awareness of the UK statutory regulations and the ability to understand clients detailed requirements whilst applying this to the projects.
