Overview
Smile Education is a leading recruitment service for schools and nurseries in the West Midlands. Smile Education are currently working with a large Nursery based in the centre of Tipton who cater for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. This particular Nursery are looking for a vibrant and passionate Early Years Practitioner who is looking to work within a busy nursery on a weekly basis a minimum of 2 days a week with weekly opportunities of overtime. About the role: - The role is set to start June 2020 on an ongoing basis. This is subject to change due to children's numbers. - Will be based mainly in the Toddler room but may be required to work in babies and preschool when their is staff absence or annual leave to assist with ratios. - Delivering the EYFS to key children through activities and monitoring their progress through observations, achievements and areas of improvement. About the nursery: - The nursery is located in Tipton with great public transport routes from Wednesday, Dudley, West Bromwich and Wednesbury. - The Nursery is also open from 7.30 till 6.00 and offers an afterschool club service. - Offers 15 and 30 hour free places. - Rated 'Good' in the their most recent OFSTED report. About you: - Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Curriculum. - Able to deliver the EYFS to childre from 6 months to 5 years old. - Confident supporting key children. - Abl to work with children in small groups and on a one to one basis. - Must have a minimum qualification of a level 3 in childcare or education. - Eligible to work in the UK - Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check About Smile Education: - Receive a dedicated specialised consultant who will support you throughout your time at Smile Education - Receive regular CPD, training opportunities. - Fantastic rates of pay for both day to day and long-term cover - Complete confidentiality and guidance - Opportunity to experience a variety of settings and get the chance to know about vacancy before they are advertised.
