Overview

Background Westray Recruitment Group are excited to be working with a FMCG business in Eaglescliffe in their search for 3x permanent Machine Operators. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-national business who encourage the development of experience and skill sets at every opportunity. Your role Working in a team environment to production specifications, you'll: Operate the machinery whilst carrying out the duties assigned to achieve daily performance levels. Conducting daily 5S Checks Conducting daily machinery safety reviews Carry out routine product quality inspections to agreed standards and specifications Carry out routine weight control checks to control costs Maintain asset and production area hygiene standards Work within agreed factory food and health and safety policies Carry out product changeovers to agreed standards and timings Actively participate in CI and training activities Using skills and competencies gained conduct basic machinery fault finding In return You'll receive £10.81 p/hr for a 25-hour working week working Monday-Friday between 12:15pm and 5:15pm as well as the usual host of pension contributions, annual leave and overtime potential.
