Benefits: £37-47,000pa DOE / 37.5 hour week / early finish Friday / 25 8 days holiday / Company Car / Mobile Phone We are currently looking to recruit an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in the West Midlands, who has worked in the Fire and/or Security, Manufacturing or Construction Industry We are a successful company established for over 50 years, who manufacture, design and install their own systems with national coverage, employing over 200 staff across the business with 40 engineers nationally. We are proud of our reputation in the industry and have a very low staff turnover, due to the support and ongoing training that our employees are provided with. Job Role Working closely with a number of stakeholders Responsible for promoting and steering the environmental performance of the company. Carrying out site visits to represent the company at safety meetings and inspections Ensure projects are delivered safely, to a standard commensurate with both company objectives and the client expectations. Developing internal HSE processes and policies and ensure they are being adhered to Advise, help, demonstrate and rectify any identified issues Requirements A background in the Fire and/or Security, Manufacturing or Construction Industry Applicants must be confident, with excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate their ability to proactively keep on top of, and manage, multiple activities. Ideally level 6 Diploma qualified and possess a proven track record of all areas of this key role. Due to the requirement for visit sites, satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance as well as prison national database clearance will be required Current SMSTS, First Aid and other appropriate qualifications would be an advantage, although training can be provided. Full UK Driver's license
