Overview
Proximity Recruitment are searching for an experienced Senior PHP Developer (£50,000 - £70,000 Benefits) to join a growing services business in Northampton. Reporting into an ambitious IT Director, the successful Senior PHP Developer will deliver quality and robust solutions using open-source web technology for their business partner platform in a growing & collaborative market. Essential Candidate skills: • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles. • Working with a PHP MVC framework. • Integrating with 3rd parties via API’s. • Implementing test-driven development practices. • Managing source control using Git. • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS. • Experience of working with inhouse and offshore team, with both development and maintenance practices. • Collaborating with other team members (developers, designers, product managers, marketers, etc). • You will be professional, have great writing, communication skills and a hands-on approach. • Experience with optimising legacy code Desirable Candidate skills: • Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. • Laravel. • AWS stack. • Javascript A vibrant, innovative & 'digital first’ business this is a key role for the development of what is a market-leading service in a growing organisation.
