Senior PlannerNorthamptonOne of the UK’s most successful Tier 1 contractors has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join their highways division working on a major project. If you’re an experience Planner from a site background, you are exactly who they are looking forThe Role- You will be updating and managing the construction programme to support on time delivery. Day to day you will: - Review and develop the preferred construction sequence considering project wide constraints to confirm he duration in the overall scheme scheduleCombing the Pre-construction and Construction SchedulesProduce and maintain the overall Project Schedule, reviewing and updating this regularly with stakeholdersArrange, facilitate and provide output from client and supply chain collaborative planning sessionsCost load the scheduleGenerate Earned Value Analysis from the cost loaded scheduleMonthly updating of the schedule and reports requireUpdate and analyse the schedule based on the effects of Compensation events or other event which may affect the current plan Ideal Candidate – It is essential that you began your career in a site background and transitioned into planning to ensure you have the technical and operational understanding of a project.
