Finance Business Partner - Construction
Overview
Elevation Accountancy and Finance are working closely with a truly exciting and ambitious Construction business in Leeds, who are looking to add to their commercial finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join this business as a Finance Business Partner where you will be heavily involved in preparing and analysing business results within an ERP system, ensuring that the business maintains a clear picture of its projected costs. There will be a huge part to play for you to work with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring you are supporting on key decisions, particularly on key projects. Some key tasks will include:- - Be a main point of contact for all financials as part of the project delivery team - Provide pre-contract project support by liaising with the commercial team - Manage costs and ensure timely revenue recognition on delivery projects - Prepare business case support details and maintain project financial models This role would suit a dynamic and commercial accountant who has experience of accounting for long term contracts within a sizeable business. You will be able to communicate well with people of all levels and across the business and have the gravitas to be able to influence their decisions. Ideally you will be a qualified accountant and have advanced Excel skills.
