Overview

Finance Manager Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a leading Education organisation in Leeds who are looking to identify a high calibre Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The position will form part of a strong leadership team with support from a highly experienced Finance Director. Duties will include: Produce accurate financial reports to tight deadlines in support of monthly management accounts Produce annual financial statements, prepare audit files and liaise with external and internal auditors Management of a Finance Assistant whose role includes purchase ledger/ credit control and payroll Lead on the development of financial systems and procedures Budget setting and monitoring departmental budgets, costing activities and development of budget profiles Robust cash management strategy, including monitoring and forecasting of cash balances The successful candidate will: Be a Qualified Accountant ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) Have experience producing monthly management accounts and budget setting Be a strong communicator who can liaise and work closely with a range of non-finance staff Able to challenge current processes and identify areas of improvement To apply for the position please use the link provided or contact Hugh Fox via LinkedIN
