Elevation Recruitment Group are really excited to be working in partnership with a leading specialist healthcare company based in the Rotherham area as they look to expand their busy team with the recruitment of an enthusiastic & committed Business Analyst This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to join a friendly & supportive team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be a confident user of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, v look ups & macros) and ideally have a basic knowledge of SQL as they will take on the responsibility of providing high quality and timely business information to support the continued performance improvement and strategic decision-making of a growing business Duties & responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include: Preparation of timely, clear and relevant financial KPIs for the monthly P&Ls Detailed analysis of costs and revenue Produce specific KPIs to inform the business and help drive performance Produce other financial performance measures and reports to support and challenge the business Support the budget preparation process with appropriate financial models and reports Working with Finance and other teams to ensure new businesses are embedded into required reports Work with the wider team, respond to queries and carry out further analysis on specific topics and projects Act as a business expert on data topics & Excel to help improve knowledge across the wider business Essential competencies: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Macros, Pivot Tables & Advanced Formulas Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask Basic knowledge of SQL (willingness to develop knowledge further) Strong numerical skills & attention to detail Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at varying levels Interest in & understanding of financial performance topics Benefits include: Desirable holiday entitlement Onsite parking Company pension The opportunity to work for a forward thinking organisation who encourage a fun working environment & really invest in their employees to drive success If you have the relevant skills & experience to be considered for this opportunity, please feel free to apply today Alternatively, you can contact Beth Liversidge to discuss further.
