Overview
Reed is working with a highly successful, well-known Wealth Management company which is part of a well-known legal firm with offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh as well as other cities in Scotland. They have a large, strong client following and as well as strong links to clients of the legal firm. They have a strong core team of advisers, qualified Paraplanners and Wealth Management Administrators in all locations. They are currently looking for a Compliance and Competency Manager to join their team. You will be involved with managing the firm’s financial planning division in line with the T&C scheme and ongoing FCA requirements. You will be Diploma qualified and have recent Compliance and T&C experience within the Financial Services/Wealth Management sector. You will be involved with final salary transfer processes, FCA reporting, regular adviser T&C meetings, client observations, recruiting and training of new IFAs as well as instigation of any new practices and process improvements. You should have technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide ranging holistic financial planning strategies compliance solutions. You can expect a great benefits package with salary up to £60,000 (DOE) plus an attractive bonus scheme.
