Job description: Job Title: Data Analyst Apprentice Location: Cardinal Place, 4th Floor 100 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 5JL Working Week: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 Salary: £10,000 - £12,000 dependant on experience, plus benefits 20 days (plus bank holidays) Expected Apprenticeship Duration: 24 months minimum Serco has a strong commitment to apprentices and training and as a successful Serco apprentice, you will be provided with unparalleled support throughout the duration of your programme. About the role Support the function in transformation of the business data into a consistent format for reporting. Support the delivery of reporting and analysis for weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reviews. Supporting the functions of the business with key insights to support their planning. Supporting in maintaining data integrity and quality Support the business in identifying innovations in data extraction, preparation and delivery. About you Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Outlook and particularly Excel. Logical and creative thinking skills Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills A thorough and organised approach Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations, both written and verbal Good initiative and judgement skills Customer Focus: Keeping both the Internal and external customer in focus at all times A strong desire for order, accuracy, quality and attention to detail High energy and ability to build rapport and work with a range of stakeholders. Team player who effectively encourages good relationships with other team members who can also use own initiative. Previous experience in an office/business environment is desirable but not essential. 5 GCSEs Grades A to C or 9 to 4 or acceptable equivalent [including English and maths] You will also need to complete an on-line initial assessment as part of the recruitment process. This will help us guide you to the most appropriate programme to meet your needs.
