Overview

An enthusiastic and proactive IT Technician is being sought for a secondary school in the Kings Lynn area, Norfolk, to provide 1st and 2nd line support on an initial 6 month contract, with a view for the role to either be extended or made permanent. Hours: 08.30am - 16.30pm Job Type: Initial 6 month contract with a potential to be extended or made permanent Salary: £18,000 to £28,500 pro rata Location: Kings Lynn Responsibilities as an IT Technician: Providing 1st - 2nd Line hands on and remote technical support to company's Infrastructure customers & internal customers Providing internal support & assistance on installations - which includes support of PCs, laptops, hardware, software and AV (audio visual) peripherals. Recording fault logs, arranging return equipment, & escalating major issues internally Building effective relationships internally Providing consultancy service by request & identifying business opportunities & room for improvement where appropriate REQUIREMENTS Relevant experience Reliable & Hardworking Excellent communication skills Subject to enhanced DBS clearance Clean driving license Willing to learn, support & grow with the team Please note this role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check will be required.
