Quality Assurance Technician Are you an established Quality Assurance Technician who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? If so then look no further A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for a Quality Assurance Technician located in near to Kings Lynn, Norfolk. You will monitor work processes and be responsible for the end quality of the produce to ensure that the quality is to the high standards expected. My client is well established within the food industry and is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to maintain the high standards that are embedded throughout their company values. This will be an ideal role for a well-established Quality Assurance Technician looking to move ·Salary - Up to £22,900 depending on experience ·Hours - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday - 22:00 - 06:00. ·Area - Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Responsibilities - Quality Assurance Technician ·Assist Technical Manager with reformulation of site procedures, policies and SOP's. ·Ensure that all Quality, Food Safety, Process, GMP, GBHP, Microbiological and QA checks on and off line are being carried out in conjunction with specific work instructions and company procedures. ·Carryout any customer specific requirements including wash outs, piece counts and weight control exercises and ensure report is meaningful. ·Act as site auditor and review all production and process paperwork, carryout out document control checks and monitoring of results where required (this includes all departments, Engineering, Hygiene, Production and Technical). Able to file and manage all process paperwork to correct places including archive process. ·Assisting in all root cause investigations towards resolving customer and consumer complaints, internal investigations and supplier issues. ·Understand HACCP and play an active part in ensuring the sites HACCP program is run effectively. ·Assist in ensuring all employees onsite understand the importance of following the Food Safety and Quality Systems. ·Have a priority role in the success in driving the Food Quality Audit and all other site customer audits and visits for the site. Skills required - Quality Assurance Technician ·Diligent and thorough in approach to work. ·Ability to manage and influence change in people. ·Self-starter - recognise and solve problems. ·Assertive. ·Speaks fluent English. ·Well conversant with Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint. ·HACCP Level 2/3 Desirable not compulsory. ·Internal Auditor Desirable not compulsory. ·Level 3 Food Safety. ·Some knowledge of frozen products. ·Awareness of the latest version of relevant Standards including BRC/SALSA and able to steer factory towards achieving and maintaining results. ·Organised and efficient ·A commutable distance from Kings Lynn, Norfolk The position of Quality Assurance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that the daily operations of the company can continue to tight deadlines.
