Junior Motor Technician - Lloyds Insurance Market Job Market - Insurance Junior Motor Technician - About the role My client are a Lloyds Broker based within the City of London, currently looking for a Junior Motor Technician to join their broking and development team. This is an entry level role in to the team and its purpose is to provide assistance to the Account Directors in order to deal with Account management for a variety of agents. Junior Motor Technician - Key duties General administrative duties including scanning, filing, entering data onto relevant spreadsheets, producing invoices and sending Insurance documents. Liaise with brokers on a daily basis, answering incoming telephone calls and chasing brokers for any additional data required Inputting & updating policies on in-house systems. Maintain an electronic filing system Working for a number of different insurers and accounts and ensuring time management and attention to detail is to a high standard at all times. Receive and send policy amendments and driver referrals to insurers. Supporting account executives Deal with account queries from Agents Junior Motor Technician - Key requirements Experience of working within a commercial environment, ideally within Insurance Basic commercial insurance awareness Highly Desirable: Insurance qualifications e.g. CII At least 5 A-C Grade GCSE’s including English, Maths and ICT. Ability to manage own time, meet deadlines and prioritise work Attention to detail, numerate and accurate Able to communicate effectively with others Organised and methodical approach to work and problem solving Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Strong contribution to the team through own ideas, initiatives and concepts.
