Overview
An exciting opportunity has opened at ZanaNet to join the Network Support team. Within this role you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in all scenarios, while building rapport and a positive ongoing work relationship with a wide variety of clients and suppliers across the telecommunications industry. This role would be ideally suited to someone in a current mid-senior technical support role and looking to move forward with their technical skills and experience in a premium technical and service focused environment. Working as part of a busy and extremely experienced team you will be working in a mixed environment which includes Fortinet, Cisco and Juniper. The role will be predominantly office based although you will be required to work offsite on occasion including equipment installation and maintenance in a data centre environment, in addition to customer site visits and network infrastructure planning. A working knowledge in some of the following would be an advantage, however full training will be provided and ongoing where required. Networking: Switching - Spanning Tree, VLANS Routing – IP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS/VPLS, QoS, IPv6, L2TP, PPP, VPN/IPSEC, VXLAN Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, Fortigate, Huawei Qualifications in any of the aforementioned areas (CCNA/CCIE/JNCNA,Fortinet NSE etc) Systems: Linux/BSD system administration Windows Server Administration VoIP SNMP Web services and load balancing RADIUS DNS Software firewalls VMWare General: Applicable University degree level qualification or comparable industry experience. Responsibilities of this role will include: Providing quick, accurate and professional responses to client support Queries/tickets by both telephone/email and online ticket support Pre-sales Design of network / systems infrastructure for new and ongoing clients. Implementation of client solutions. Maintenance / upgrades of existing client network / systems. Involvement with ZanaNET core network.
