Overview
Payroll officer required for a permanent opportunity working for a well established business based in central Birmingham. You will responsible for the day to day running of weekly and monthly payroll for over 500 employees. Your daily duties will include processing payroll, setting up starters and leavers, calculating holiday pay, tax, national insurance, pension contributions, resolving payroll queries and assisting with payroll month/year end. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll officer looking for a new challenge. You must have excellent communication skills, have a keen eye for details and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. My client is a well established business with an open and friendly culture. This business is easily accessible by public transport based in central Birmingham.
