Title: Senior Reporting Accountant Company: Insurance Location: Manchester Rate: Up to £550 per day outside IR35 or £660 per day inside IR35 (status to be determined) Oliver James Associates are currently working with a nationally recognised Insurance firm based in Manchester who is looking for an interim Senior Reporting Accountant for a 6-month contract. Supporting the Financial Reporting Manager and Head of Finance, you will be initially responsible for ensuring the accurate delivery of financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet, cash flow and risk reporting. This is a fantastic role as the business is undergoing a pivotal period of change and transition which you will be a huge part of. The Role Duties will include: Seconding the Financial Reporting Manager as and when required to ensure timely delivery of financial and regulatory reports Responsible for the production of cash flow forecasts, balance sheet, financial, regulatory and risk reporting Supporting the Senior Management team on a business critical transition project Providing knowledge around IFRS, Solvency II, financial reporting and taxation Supporting the external audit process Skills Qualified Accountant with financial and regulatory reporting knowledge within Insurance is a must Up to date knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting requirements Please apply online or email an updated CV to
