ELECTRICAL VEHICLE PROJECT MANAGER LOCATED IN ROTHERHAM/NATIONWIDE ROLE- EV/ PROJECT MANAGER LOCATION- BASE SITE ROTHERHAM, CAN BE LOCATED NATIONWIDE DURATION- 6 MONTHS RATE- AJILON CONSULTANT Our client is an International energy and services company providing energy services to consumers across the globe and driving innovative products and solutions to drive power to the customer in more ways than one. THE ROLE We provide construction services to deliver projects across the UK for car dealerships & SME customers wishing to have charging stations installed. As we grow, recruiting the right people is essential and we currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager (Electric Vehicle specialist) to manage installation works. Work with the existing operations team to support the delivery of sites on a concurrent basis, delivering on time, within budget and exemplar of health and safety. Duties Installation project planning: Develop and implement the detailed installation project plan for standard projects, and support the Operations Manager plan larger, more complex projects and/or key accounts. Support with creating overall programme plans where appropriate. Installation project delivery: Responsible for the installation delivery for standard generation/energy efficiency/electric solutions, including coordinating all internal and external parties to ensure project is installed safely, on budget and on schedule. Support the Operations Manager deliver more complex and/or higher value projects. Contractor management: Monitor the performance of the selected contractors and report to Contractor Management team as required. Design Work: Basic understanding to design electrical and civil installation works on small scale works, working with design team on larger projects. Customer satisfaction: Establish strong relationships with the customer and support the Customer Support Office in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Operational Risk: Manage and monitor all operational risks escalating to the Lead Project Managers as necessary. Reporting: Provide operations manager with detailed and on-time progress reports, tracking project timescales, resources, HSE and budgets Governance: Ensure the Governance framework is appropriately followed for all technical decisions. Describe key competencies required. SMSTS or equivalent Electrical/Electrotechnical Experience Electrical and construction project management track record Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
