Overview

Recruit Moore have been approached by our client in Southampton to support them in finding a Data Administrator. Our client’s primary focus is to streamline the current data entry processes in order to provide a highly efficient service to the wider internal team. To begin, the role will consist of data processing and entry, but the main goal will be to automate each element and take advantage of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. As a member of the data team you will be involved with helping to design and improve the processes and in time, take ownership of them. The role is not customer facing and you will be working with a wide variety of internal staff which will be a great opportunity for you to gain an insight in to each part of the business Our client is looking for someone who would class themselves as a perfectionist, loves working with data and has a keen interest in technology. The data specialist role will consist of two key areas and in-depth training will be provided for both: Sales Setting up new customers and leads in to the Sage CRM system Phoning and emailing suppliers to obtain contract details of prospective customers Input, analysis and production of quotes on behalf of the internal sales staff Responsible for monitoring KPI dashboards to ensure standard expectations are met Organising and sending out tenders General sales administration Ensuring all required sales documents and forms have been received and logged (internal chasing) Billing Opening post and scanning supplier invoices Downloading invoices from supplier portals Entering invoice data in to Sage CRM and validating Sending invoices to customers Chasing suppliers for missing invoices Managing billing KPI dashboards to ensure standard expectations are met Entering customer meter reads in to Sage CRM and sending on to the supplier Raising cases in Sage CRM if billing issues are identified General admin / data integrity Other Tracking and managing customer queries in the company database. Carry out data analysis and problem solving. You will need strong numeracy and data entry skills, but as this is entry level role training will be given. This role would suit a graduate or someone looking to start their career. Hours of work - 08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday. Recruit Moore acts as an employment agency in relation to this role.
