An exciting job opportunity for an ASP. NET Developer in Reading, £350 - £400 per day £350 - £400 per day 6-month contract (Possible extension) Thame, Oxfordshire UK Your new company We are an established multinational consumer goods company and one of Europe's most valued companies with our products available in over 190 countries. As owners of hundreds of different brands across many areas of consumer goods, we are a rapidly growing company with an ever-growing need for system development. A strong software arm is crucial to our business and we are now embarking on a project to improve the efficiency and organisation of our business. As such, we are recruiting for an ASP.NET Developer with MVC and C# experience to replace a critical legacy application. Your new role You will work full-time within a small team, working directly with the development manager. You will grow with the team and make significant contributions to the application being developed whilst offering new ideas that can be implemented into the project. You will be responsible for designing, analysing and developing the new application whilst also carrying out enhancements to existing systems. What you'll need to succeed The successful developer will be confident working in an agile environment on both front-end and back-end technologies. You will have a strong track record in delivering development with ASP.NET, C#, T-SQL and SQL Server. You will be able to identify and rectify problems to allow smooth progression of the project. You must also be able to pass on skills and experience to allow continued progression of the project at your contract end.
